Through Jesus, God kept the promise He made in the Garden of Eden when sin and its consequences entered the world. (Genesis 3:15)
He made good on His covenant with Abraham. (Jesus is a descendant of Abraham.)
"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." Genesis 12:2-3
". . . for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you." Genesis 17:5-7
He fulfilled the prophecies He spoke through Old Testament prophets many years before Christ was born. (Isaiah 53 and more)
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5
God had a plan to rescue and save mankind. He accomplished it through His Son, Jesus and He isn't finished yet. The time is coming when He will keep His promise to come back and take us to be with Him.
"They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." Matthew 24:30-31
